After you were arrest for the DUI, your case will be filed with the clerk's office and your
DUI reports will be sent to the prosecuting agency. The case will be assigned to a prosecutor
that typically will handle all the DUI charges.
In the larger counties, a courtroom may be dedicated only to DUI charges. In those
jurisdictions, a team of prosecutors will be assigned to the courtroom. The attorneys
that are assigned to DUI court are typically younger attorneys and not as experienced as the
felony attorneys. However, these DUI prosecutors can be very aggressive.
